The Potrero Hill Family Resource Center accepts all clients -- there are no eligibility requirements. The Potrero Hill Food Pantry Program requires that the clients live in the Potrero Hill community with a zip code of 94107. For those in need of food pantry foodstuffs that are outside of our service area we refer them to the Food Bank, who will then refer the client to a nearby food pantry.
Through a grant from the Human Services Agency, the Potrero Hill Family Resource Center provides comprehensive services to families with children ages 0 -14 years old and other families who reside in the Potrero Hill community from our site located at 85 Turner Terrace. We provide community events and outings to build trust and to inform the community of our services. We provide free disaster preparedness, first aid, and CPR classes to build community capacity and strength. We perform outreach to the harder to reach clients. We provide basic information & referral, and drop-in resources, including a food pantry, and a business center. We hold on-going support groups, nutrition education workshops and parenting workshops. We provide linkages to services, crisis intervention services and family advocacy to offer direct guidance to families.
