Eligibility, Admission, and Enrollment

EOCSF is operated a on non-discriminatory basis and accords equal treatment and access to services without regard to race, color, religion, national origin or ancestry. Physically and/or emotionally handicapped children may be accepted provided that our program has the necessary resources and skills to ensure the proper care and development of the child. In accordance with state regulations, our program refrains from religious worship or instruction.

Application: Eligibility Determination

Our Center must strictly adhere to the California State Education Child Development Guidelines. To be eligible a family must meet at least one criterion in both “eligibility” and “need” areas.

Eligibility

In order to satisfy the eligibility criteria a family must be either:
  1. Protective service referral from a legal, medical or social service agency.
  2. Be considered an Income Eligible family (families whose gross monthly income does not exceed 75% of the State’s median income)
  3. Homeless
Currently the maximum monthly gross family income which qualifies a family for services is as follows:
  • Income guidelines: Based upon a sliding scale.

Need

Need for services is established by:
  1. Legal, medical, or social service agency referral
  2. Parent and any other adult counted in the family size are:
    1. employed
    2. in training
    3. seeking employment
Hours of Operation:
  • Child Care Centers – 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • (Half Day) Preschool – 9:00 AM – 12:00 AM and 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
